James Lind Alliance – Major Trauma Priority Setting Partnership

The James Lind Alliance are running a Major Trauma Priority Setting Partnership (PSPs). These James Lind Alliance PSPs have successfully influenced funders for research into fractures, sepsis and haemorrhage over the last decade.

Now it’s time to decide which topics need prioritising for research in the initial assessment and management of Major Trauma, with International funding and collaboration on the horizon. They are inviting healthcare professionals treating major trauma and individuals with experience of major trauma, either directly or indirectly as a family member, friend or carer, to complete their 5-minute survey: http://bit.ly/MajorTraumaSurvey. This is an excellent way to prioritise future research and influence funders.

If you have access and could reach out to eligible patients in your hospitals, the team would be especially grateful! Please contact boneandjointhealth@qmul.ac.uk for paper surveys and freepost envelopes to be sent to you.
