Developing a research grant application with a public co-applicant workshop

The NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) and INVOLVE partnership is offering a unique and free development opportunity. This workshop is open to researchers and members of the public who are developing a research proposal together, with a view to submitting an application to a national peer-reviewed funding competition. The aims of the workshop are to explore:

• How to justify and describe the need for a public co-applicant within your grant application

• The range of roles that a public co-applicant can take on

• How to negotiate and meet expectations together

• What support and resources are available.
